History of Plein Sport

Under the brand name of Philip Plein, Plein Sport was introduced in 2016 as a supplement to the luxury fashion line. While it originally saw great success, the Plein Sport line was pulled after a couple of seasons in 2017, due to concerns that it wasn't sufficiently differentiated from the Philipp Plein brand. A year later, in 2018, the Plein Sport line was put on hold due to strategic decisions within the Plein Group. However, the sports line was relaunched at Milan Fashion Week 2022. At the end of November 2023, the Plein Sports line was presented at ISPO Munich to show how the designer wants to position the line in the future. And now, in 2024, Plein Sport is thriving - offering something truly unique with each watch or piece of sportswear.
